Dead Island: Epidemic is a zombie-based hack and slash MOBA by Deep Silver and Stunlock Studios. In it, players combat hordes of undead and player-driven humans to find supplies and survive. Unlike many other MOBAs, Dead Island: Epidemic supplies a limited pool of dynamic humans that can wield a vast array of customizable weapons. Although my time in beta was plagued with slow frame rates and poor load times, the game itself was quite fun.

With Dying Light recently launched, you might find the game holds some similarities to the Dead Island series. This shouldn't be much of a surprise as the development of both the original Dead Island and Dying Light comes from Techland. The development company first created Dead Island video game but gave the rights to Deep Silver as it was the only deal that development team could get at the time. After the two companies ran into disagreements about the future of the Dead Island series, Techland decided to leave development of Dead Island 2 and start work on Dying Light.

Deep Silver and Reloaded Games announced today that APB: Reloaded will be arriving for the Xbox One and PS4 this June. CEO of Reloaded Games, Bjorn Book-Larsson, also provided a bit of insight into what we can expect from the game as it makes its way onto Sony and Microsoft's home consoles.
